  • No child or adult price. Price depends on height, not age: anyone over 1.05 m pays the full ticket, and anyone up to 1.05 m is free.
  • Buy online. The park’s official website and authorised sellers regularly sell tickets well below the gate price, often with 30 to 40 percent off. Tickets are for a fixed date and cannot be refunded, changed or resold.
  • Resident offers. The park has run UAE resident pricing and annual passes in the past, and membership schemes such as Fazaa have offered tickets from about AED 129. Residents should check current offers and bring their resident ID if they buy a resident ticket.
  • Bring photo ID. Everyone should carry valid photo ID, and teenagers need it for the Haunted Hotel.

Is Fast Track worth it? On weekdays outside school holidays, usually not: most queues are short. On Friday and Saturday evenings, public holidays and in the summer, when the indoor park is at its busiest, an unlimited Fast Track can save hours on Velociraptor, Spider-Man and the Avengers rides.

Smaller children have their own rides in each zone, including the Dino carousel in Lost Valley and gentle Cartoon Network rides, which have lower or no height limits. Restrictions are posted at every ride and can change, so check the boards or Guest Services on the day. Children under 12 must be with an adult aged 16 or over at all times.

The four zones

  • Marvel: superhero rides and shows, including the Avengers rides, Spider-Man’s chase after Doctor Octopus and the Hulk simulator. Best for teens and adults.
  • Lost Valley, Dinosaur Adventure: life-size animatronic dinosaurs and the park’s big coasters, Velociraptor and Predator. Best for thrill-seekers.
  • Cartoon Network: Gumball, Ben 10, Adventure Time, and the Powerpuff Girls’ Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup defending Townsville. Best for families and children aged about 4 to 12.
  • IMG Boulevard: the central street with the Haunted Hotel, shops, restaurants, live shows and character meet-and-greets.

A ride plan for the day

  1. 12pm: be at the gates for opening and go straight to Lost Valley for Velociraptor and Predator while queues are short.
  2. 1:30pm: Marvel: Spider-Man, Avengers: Battle of Ultron and Thor.
  3. 3pm: lunch, then the Cartoon Network zone, which suits the post-lunch slump and younger children.
  4. 5pm: repeat favourites, catch a show on the Boulevard.
  5. 7pm: the Haunted Hotel for over-15s, before its queue closes early on busy nights.

Halloween and seasonal events

In October 2026 the park runs its Halloween season from 1 to 31 October, with extra scares around the Haunted Hotel, themed shows and a haunted café. Other seasonal events and concerts run through the year and may need a separate ticket.

Food, lockers and facilities

  • Food: restaurants and counters in every zone, from themed Marvel dining and the Boulevard food court to kids’ meals in the Cartoon Network zone. Outside food and drink are not allowed.
  • Lockers: available for bags, and recommended before the coasters.
  • Strollers and wheelchairs: single and double strollers to rent, and wheelchairs on a first-come, first-served basis with ID.
  • Shops: Marvel, Cartoon Network and dinosaur souvenirs throughout the park.
  • Parking: free, with paid valet.
  • Other: ATMs, prayer rooms, first aid and Guest Services near the entrance.

About IMG Worlds of Adventure

IMG Worlds of Adventure opened on 31 August 2016 in City of Arabia, beside Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road. Built by the Ilyas and Mustafa Galadari Group, it covers about 1.5 million square feet under one roof and is billed as the world’s largest temperature-controlled indoor theme park, with capacity for more than 20,000 guests a day.

Getting there

The park is on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) in Dubailand, about 25 minutes by car from Downtown Dubai and close to Global Village, which makes an easy pairing in winter: IMG in the afternoon, Global Village in the evening. Taxis drop off at the main entrance.

Money-saving tips

  • Go on a weekday in term time and skip Fast Track.
  • Eat a late breakfast before you arrive at noon and have one main meal inside.
