Season 15 dates and opening hours

The garden closes every summer, when temperatures pass 45°C, so the flowers can be replanted, and reopens when the weather cools. This season started about two weeks later than first planned because of the weather, so the opening moved to Thursday 8 October 2026.

Dubai Miracle Garden ticket prices for 2026-27

Ticket prices for Dubai Miracle Garden are announced before VAT, which is why you will see two sets of numbers online. The table shows both.

TicketPrice before VATPrice with 5% VAT
UAE resident adult (Emirates ID)AED 70AED 73.50
UAE resident child (Emirates ID)AED 50AED 52.50
General adultAED 100AED 105
General childAED 80AED 84
Children under 3FreeFree
Combo with Dubai Butterfly GardenAED 140AED 147

So the AED 105 and AED 84 figures in some listings are not a price rise. They are the AED 100 and AED 80 general tickets with VAT added. Older guides still quote AED 75 to AED 95 from past seasons; ignore them. Residents must show a valid Emirates ID at the gate to get the lower rate, so carry the card, not a photo of it.

Book on the official Dubai Miracle Garden website for QR entry. Tickets arrive on WhatsApp and are valid for a single entry, so you cannot leave and come back on the same ticket. Show the live digital ticket at the gate, as screenshots are not always accepted.

Several lookalike websites use the garden’s name and sell tickets. The official site is dubaimiraclegarden.com. Check the address bar before you pay.

Free and discounted entry

  • Birthday offer: UAE residents with an Emirates ID can claim two free tickets for a birthday that falls between October and May. Register online in advance; the tickets arrive by email and WhatsApp two days before your birthday, along with a discount coupon for family and friends.
  • Seasonal promotions: last season the garden ran free entry for UAE resident families until 31 March 2026. Limited promotional free tickets are released first come, first served, so watch the official channels.
  • Under 3s always go free.

What is new in Season 15

The season theme is “Fifteen Years, Blooming Together”. The biggest change is a programme of weekly themed celebrations, a first for the garden. Themes announced so far include Pink October, United Nations Day, UAE Flag Day, Diwali, the Dubai Fitness Challenge, Commemoration Day and Eid Al Etihad for National Day.

  • New flower varieties planted over the summer closure, across more than 150 varieties.
  • The Floating Lady, the only display the garden itself marks as new this season.
  • Early-morning events before 9am in October and November, such as Halloween and Diwali mornings, runs, walks, cycling and cosplay. These need an event ticket, not a garden day ticket.
  • A live concert, Right on Time with Stephen Speaks, at the amphitheatre on Saturday 21 November 2026.

Dubai Miracle Garden’s Guinness World Records

The garden opened on Valentine’s Day, 14 February 2013, and has since earned several Guinness World Records:

  • Largest vertical garden, achieved in 2013, the year it opened.
  • Largest floral structure, the Emirates A380 display, in 2016.
  • Largest topiary structure, an 18-metre Mickey Mouse made from around 100,000 flowers and weighing about 35 tonnes, unveiled with Disney in February 2018.

It bills itself as the world’s largest natural flower garden. The garden and the neighbouring Butterfly Garden were created by Cityland Group, founded by Abdel Naser Rahhal.

Best route and photo tips

  • Turn left, not right. Most visitors follow the main loop to the right from the entrance. Walking the other way gets you to the Emirates A380 while the crowds are still near the entrance.
  • Heart Tunnel first or last. It is the busiest spot. Go straight after opening or in the last hour before closing for a clear shot.
  • Golden hour: sunset falls at roughly 5:30pm to 6pm through October and November. Arrive about an hour before for warm light on the displays.
  • After dark: the garden is lit after sunset, giving the same displays a completely different look.
  • Cameras: phones and normal cameras are fine. Professional cameras, tripods for commercial shoots and drones need prior approval or are not allowed.

Dubai Butterfly Garden next door

The Dubai Butterfly Garden sits next to the Miracle Garden, about 240 metres from its gate and sharing the same car park. It is a set of air-conditioned domes with around 8,000 to 10,000 butterflies and a koi pond, open from 9am to 6pm daily, which makes it a good escape from the midday heat. You need its own ticket or the AED 140 combo. Allow 30 to 45 minutes.

Food, facilities and accessibility

  • Food: food stalls and kiosks sell fast food, ice cream, juices and Arabic snacks. Expect to pay around AED 25 to AED 30 for a wrap and AED 5 to AED 10 for water.
  • Outside food: not allowed, and barbecues are banned.
  • Accessibility: the paths are paved and flat, and the garden is wheelchair and stroller friendly, with resting areas along the way.
  • Facilities: restrooms, souvenir shops and seating are spread across the garden.

Rules: what you cannot bring

  • No pets.
  • No outside food or drinks, and no barbecues.
  • No drones or professional cameras. Commercial shoots need written approval from the garden office.
  • No smoking anywhere in the garden.
  • No picking flowers.
  • No bicycles, scooters, hoverboards or balls.

Getting there by car and parking
