What changed: the new Dubai Garden Glow

The original Dubai Garden Glow ran for ten seasons near Zabeel Park Gates 6 and 7. It billed itself as the world’s largest glow-in-the-dark garden, lit by more than 10 million LED lights, with displays built from recycled materials across several zones: Glow Park, Magic Park (3D art and optical illusions), Art Park, Ice Park (ice sculptures of landmarks and wildlife) and Dinosaur Park. It closed in April 2025 and reopened in November 2025, for Season 11, as a rebuilt “2 experiences at 1 destination” attraction beside Dubai Frame.

Many ticket and guide websites still describe the old layout, with an Ice Park, Art Park and late closing times, and some sell tickets under the Garden Glow name without being the operator. The official site is dubaigardenglow.com. Check the location says Gate 3 before you pay.

Dubai Garden Glow tickets

The official price is AED 73.50 per person, which works out to AED 70 plus 5% VAT. The same ticket covers both parks. Children up to 3 years old enter free, and everyone older pays the full price, as there is no separate child ticket on the official site. Buy on the official Dubai Garden Glow website.

Dubai Garden Glow timings

The official site currently shows a summer timetable: open Wednesday to Monday from 4pm to 9pm, closed on Tuesdays unless it is a public holiday. When the new site first opened in November 2025, it ran from 10am to 9pm daily, so winter hours may be longer. We will update this page when the winter timetable is published.

The best moment is the changeover from daylight to dark. Sunset in Dubai falls at roughly 5:30pm to 6pm through October and November, so arriving around 5pm lets you see the dinosaurs in daylight and the light installations once it is dark.

Inside Dinosaur Park

Dinosaur Park has more than 100 life-size animatronic dinosaurs, from triceratops to tyrannosaurus, that move and roar along a route through the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods, with short information panels on each species.

AttractionWhat happensBest for
Dino LiveWalking dinosaurs roam the park and star in daily performancesAll ages
Dino CageA “dino escape” set piece where angry dinosaurs try to break out of their enclosuresOlder children and teens who like a jump scare
Dino RideChildren climb on and ride a dinosaurYoung children
Dino ExtinctLife-size fossils and a fossil dig, explaining how dinosaurs vanished 66 million years agoCurious school-age children
Dino HeritageDinosaurs grouped by era, showing how they evolvedFamilies who like to read as they go

Allow 45 to 60 minutes for Dinosaur Park. Toddlers may find the biggest, loudest dinosaurs scary at first, so hold their hand for the first few and start with Dino Ride.

Inside Fantasy Park

Fantasy Park is the art half of the ticket: glowing light tunnels, oversized colourful sculptures, large animal figures and light installations built for photos. It looks good in daylight but comes alive after sunset, when the lights switch on. Allow about an hour, longer if you are taking photos.

The operator suggests about 2 hours for both parks. Families with young children often take less, while keen photographers take longer in Fantasy Park.

Rules and practical tips

  • No outside food or drinks; there are food stalls inside.
  • No pets.
  • No smoking.
  • No balls, bicycles, scooters, toy cars or hoverboards.
  • Professional photo shoots need permission from the operator.
  • Last entry is usually an hour before closing.
  • Wear comfortable shoes, as the paths are long and mostly outdoors.
  • October evenings are still warm, so bring water for children and plan the walk for after sunset.

Getting there by car

Drive to Zabeel Park and head for Gate 3, Area A, on the Dubai Frame side of the park, then follow the Garden Glow signs. Park in the Zabeel Park car parks near Gate 3 and check the signs on the day, as some areas charge a small fee. If your maps app or a reseller voucher sends you to Gates 6 or 7, it is using the old location. Taxis can drop you at “Dubai Garden Glow, Zabeel Park Gate 3, next to Dubai Frame”.

Garden Glow or Miracle Garden?

They are easy to confuse but very different. Dubai Garden Glow is an evening attraction of lights, art and animatronic dinosaurs in Zabeel Park. Dubai Miracle Garden is a daytime flower garden in Al Barsha South with more than 150 million real flowers. With young children who love dinosaurs, choose Garden Glow; for photos of flowers, choose Miracle Garden.
