These Terms of Use (the “terms”) apply to your use of uaecue.com and any page on it (the “site”), operated by UAE Cue (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Disclaimer also apply and form part of these terms.
1. What the site is
UAE Cue publishes free guides to outings, attractions, parks, beaches, trails, events, seasons and public holidays in the United Arab Emirates. The site is for general information and planning only. We do not sell tickets, take bookings or payments, or provide services on behalf of any attraction, operator, tour company or authority, and we do not act as an agent for any of them.
2. Who may use the site
The site is free to use and intended for a general adult audience. If you are under 18, please use the site with the involvement of a parent or guardian, especially when planning outdoor activities. You are responsible for making sure that your use of the site complies with the laws that apply to you.
3. Using our content
- You may read, print and save our guides, and share links to them, for your own personal, non-commercial use.
- You may quote a short extract from a guide, such as a sentence or a few facts, if you credit UAE Cue and link to the original page.
- You may not copy, republish, translate, sell, license or redistribute our content, in full or in substantial part, on another website, app, publication or platform without our written permission.
- You may not present our content as your own or remove credits or dates from it.
- You may not use robots, scrapers or other automated tools to copy, harvest or bulk-download content from the site, or use our content to build databases or to train or feed machine-learning or similar systems, without our written permission. Normal search engine indexing is allowed.

4. Intellectual property
The text, tables, data compilations, layout, design, logo, name and other original material on the site belong to UAE Cue or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Images are our own, licensed or used with permission, and may belong to third parties. Names, logos and trademarks of attractions, venues, operators, events and organisations mentioned on the site belong to their owners. Mentioning them is for identification and information only and does not mean they endorse UAE Cue or that we endorse them.
5. Accuracy of information
We research every guide carefully, follow our editorial policy, and show when key facts were last checked. However, opening hours, prices, dates, rules, availability and conditions can change without notice, and expected dates, such as Islamic holidays, can change when official announcements are made. You are responsible for confirming important details with the operator or official source before you travel, book or pay. The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
6. Outdoor activities and safety
Many of our guides cover activities that carry risks, such as desert driving, camping, hiking, wadis, mountain roads, swimming and water sports, especially in the UAE’s heat. Our guides are not safety instructions or professional advice. You take part in any activity at your own risk and are responsible for checking the weather and official warnings, following the rules of the place and the instructions of staff and authorities, and making sure the activity suits your health, fitness and experience.
7. Links to other websites and bookings
Our guides link to websites we do not control, such as official attraction, operator, tourism and government sites. We provide these links for convenience. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, prices, terms, privacy practices or security. Any booking, purchase or agreement you make on another website is solely between you and that business, under its terms, and we are not a party to it.
8. Advertising
The site may display advertising, including ads served by third parties such as Google. Advertisers are responsible for their ads and the products or services they promote. An ad appearing on the site is not an endorsement or recommendation by UAE Cue, and advertisers have no influence over our guides. If we publish sponsored content or use affiliate links, they will be clearly labelled.
9. Acceptable use
When using the site, you must not:
- break any applicable law or regulation, including UAE laws on online content and cybercrime;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers, accounts or any connected system;
- interfere with the site’s operation or security, for example by introducing malware, probing for vulnerabilities or overloading it with requests;
- frame or mirror the site, or make it appear that our content belongs to another website;
- impersonate UAE Cue or our team, or misrepresent your connection with us;
- use the site to send spam or to collect information about other people.
We may block access from any device, network or service that breaks these rules.
10. Messages and submissions
If you send us a correction, suggestion, photo or other information, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge. You allow us, free of charge, to use it to check, update and improve our guides. We will not publish your name or personal details without your permission. Please do not send confidential information or sensitive personal data. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your message.
11. Limitation of liability
The site is provided free of charge. To the fullest extent permitted by law, UAE Cue is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or from your reliance on its content. This includes loss caused by changed opening hours, prices, dates, closures or rules; by bookings or purchases with third parties; by travel disruption; or by injury, illness or damage during an outing. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
12. Indemnity
If you use the site in breach of these terms, or in breach of the law or another person’s rights, you agree to be responsible for any resulting claims, losses and reasonable costs that we suffer, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Availability and changes to the site
We aim to keep the site available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free or secure. We may change, suspend, restrict or remove any part of the site, or any guide, at any time without notice.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree with a change, please stop using the site.
15. General
- Severability: if any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
- No waiver: if we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- Entire agreement: these terms, with the policies linked above, are the whole agreement between you and us about the site.
- Language: these terms are written in English. If they are translated, the English version prevails.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute relating to them or to the site is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, unless the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
